- Sands of Namibia– a gift from my aunt and uncle, as we’ve discussed many times my desire to travel and see new places so they gave me this beautiful jar full of Namibian sand to be a placeholder until I can go and see all the beautiful places myself.
- Beaded Lavenders– In South Africa, many stalls and markets around the Cape Town coastline will have a table full of beaded creations, and I’ve always loved them because I always thought it was such a smart, creative way to make sculptures, and it is something I know I can’t find anywhere else, it is purely South African. And what a great reminder of my love of beauty, especially within humanity.
- Sport Patches– two of my past passions. I really took a chance on them, put in the mahi, and put my love into them, and I am so proud of them and that time of my life. To me, they represent mahi, mana, passion, and love.
- Musical Programs– I have always loved musicals and the theatre, and my family started a tradition of taking me to a musical for my birthday. A representation of the love, care and support I am shown. And I have a growing collection to prove it.
- Matariki necklace– a necklace I bought myself when my family and I visited Wellington for the first time, it felt so good to explore a city that I hadn’t visited before and knew nothing about in a long time, and I just loved it! This necklace represents my growing knowledge and appreciation for the Māori culture and Aotearoa and is one of the only constellations I can point out in the sky.
