Deputy Principal – Tumuaki Tuarua

  1. Gumboots: These represent my farming roots, coming from the mighty Waikato, I believe the saying is “You can take the girl out of the farm, but you can’t take the farm out of the girl”.
  2. Kiwifruit: Represents the other area I am from, Tauranga. I love going back to visit whānau and friends here. To me it is a place of rest and recuperation.
  3. Fitness: I’ve started my trail running journey…we will see how long it lasts! I love challenging myself and using fitness as a way to keep my mind balanced.
  4. A Cup of Tea: makes every moment better.
  5. Dinner Parties/cooking: Connecting and learning more about others helps me understand people better and builds strong foundations. I love doing this by having people over to cook and share meals.
